Trend Men s/s2013

PRINT MY CHEST
Printed shirts are back. Whether it's baroque motifs or floral prints, its supposed to make you stand out!
And not in a Hawaii or a granddad style pairing the shirt with sandals and socks, but in a gentlemanly laid back spring style. And if you aren't into that "sensitive" look, you might try a geometrical print, or a burnout look, even batik or a wallpaper printed shirt.

DIP ME IN
Its dip-dye time! If you have lots of old one colored shirts, prepare some textile color and start dipping them in the colorful goodness! But be careful, don't dip them the whole way through, just an end is fine. A few years ago, this trend was an explosion of neon colors and bright eye-burning shades, but now its going down grunge style, but still with a little bit of a bright shine. And if you don't know what to wear with this kind of a shirt, well just complete the look with a leather jacket and dark jeans, and if you have  darker tan, the better the look.

THE BIG AND THE BAD
Animal prints are lurking the catwalks, peeking out as a detail on a bag, shoes or a collar of a jacket or a coat.
Burberry showed a little bit of it all: from a full print from neck to knee, to a suptile detail on a bag, which was of course followed by animal printed shoes.
And Versace wasn't far from it either. The only difference is that the details were wide ties, and the full prints were of a shyer animal - giraffe.
So if you like animal prints, go ahead, dress up from head to toe. And if you don't like it too much, but still want to stay in trend, choose a tie, belt or a bag to stay stylish, because ,this year, the animal trend is BIG.

ICE CREAM BOYS
Well it sunny isn't it? Lets pale up and dress in pastels! Blue, yellow, pink and green, feel free to mix pastels with pastels, because that is what's hot on the runways. Six Lee mixed them with a little gray tweed and thus created a formal look : "We are all together, looking at the world in color". Besides Six Lee, all the stores will back you up as well. Because if you enter a store you will find tons of ice cream shades tempting you to try them on.
Here's how you can wear it: If you like being colorful, you can go for a head-to-toe pastel look, but you can always tone down a bit, just to be sure you're not looking like a poster or a clown, with a little bit of light grey or greyish blue. Or try layering with neutral colors. White  works perfectly because it can draw attention to the other colors you are wearing. And the best way to layer is by combining the colors that suit each other, and putting the best one on the top - meaning a pastel blazer or a jacket, even a light jumper.
And as far as accessories go, depending on your taste, you can choose from a neckerchief, tie and a light scarf to compliment your shirt or suit, and lilac or pink go with, almost, everything. And if you have more courage, try pastel socks or shoes.

THE FOUR WHEELERS
And I don't mean truckers, I mean skaters!

Acid washes, burn-out sweatshirts and eccentric denim jackets state that you have a cool-cat confidence and using one of these key trend elements and adjusting it to your own style will draw everyone's eyes on you.One way to do it is to WASH IT OUT. The original skaters who popularized this look rubbed out their clothes with a sponge soaked with any kind of strong abstergent or bleach, or just acid washed the whole piece. And if you plan on doing that, I suggest you choose black denim, camouflage or floral lining, because currently its the biggest favorite.
Another way to skate up is to roll up your T-shirt sleeves. And if you pair that with faded jeans o chino pants, you'll get that urban bad-boy look. And you can always bring an oldschool sweatshirt for the late evenings, because the washed out graphic print will complete that "I don't give a f***" style. Heck, if it's colder outside, why not top it of with a big denim jacket?
Or complete your four wheeler style with a low decorative belt, studed for example.

Sunny times bring a refreshment from stuck up tuxes, suede, and plush by bringing back a laid back style.
